Shihan Carllos CostaShihan Carllos Costa, born in the city of Maceió, Alagoas State, Brazil Parent, born May 15, 1961. In 1973 he started to train in Kyokushin Karate in Maceio with Prof. Angelic Farias who was the first official teacher in the State of Alagoas Karate Kyokushinkai.

Then it was training Kyokushin Karate in Sao Paulo in 1977. In 1982 (05.12.82) Shihan Costa became 1st Dan Black Belt in  Kyokushin. He returned to Maceió in 1983 to teach Kyokushin.

Today, Shihan Costa is a is 5th DAN and IKU Branch Chief and leader of the IKU - INTERNATIONAL Kyokushinkai Union in Brazil.

The IKU (International Kyokushinkai Union) was founded in 2000 to follow the truth, the legacy of discipline and protecting Masutatsu Oyama Kyokushin karate techniques. IKU also encourages that the rules and regulations do not deviate from the original principles of Sosai and its ideals. The headquarters of the Honbu IKU - International Kyokushinkai Union is located in the Northeastern United States in Connecticut at the command of Kaicho David Farzinzad,  founder and president.
