Sensei Mohammad Farzinzad
Instructor Kyokushin and MMA
Sensei
Mohammad Farzinzad was born on October 11, 1989
in Tehran, Iran. Mohammad and his family immigrated to
the United States in 1994. Sensei Mohammad is
the talented son of
Kaicho
David Farzinzad and
Shihan Nahid
Farzinzad.
Sensei started
practicing Kyokushin Karate at a very young age. He
became a black belt at the age of thirteen and while he
was of young age he worked extra hard and did everything
required to pass the test including the ten man kumite.
At the age of
eighteen, while a second degree black belt in
Kyokushin, Sensei became very interested in the
rise of MMA. He began to train in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu
(BJJ) and kickboxing on his own and subsequently earned
his third degree black belt in 2008. To this day, Sensei
Mohammad still trains in Kyokushin Karate, BJJ and
Kickboxing.
Sensei was so
committed to making a difference in the MMA community
that he founded an organization called K21 Power
Generation. This organization was designed for the
purpose of bettering the MMA community and creating
tournaments that follow traditional rules and culture.

Sensei Mohammad
Farzinzad states, "I am proud of all the MMA fighters,
they put in a lot of hard work and dedication into being
where they are today professionally, unfortunately
violence still persists with some fighters and coaches
outside of the cage where it does not belong. What is
the reason for this? The true way of Mixed Martial
Arts or any Martial Arts is to first better yourself as
a person and then become a good fighter with a big
heart."
K21 has the goal of creating powerful warriors, but
encouraging ethics, morals and tradition to make them
true and respectable Martial Artists.
As for Sensei, Kyokushin Karate means the world to him
and he will always use the power of Kyokushin as his
main aspect in MMA. Sensei's BJJ/Kickboxing skills are
continuing to improve, and he will have a strong
background in all three styles in the years to come.
Sensei Mohammad is a Kyokushin instructor
at the IKU dojo. In addition, Sensei Mohammad is a
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu student (under Alliance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
as taught by Shihan
